Japan gets its first Geo Audience delivery platform with Near

Near gains traction in Japan with its unique data & mobile targeting offerings, partners with MicroAd

Near was launched in Japan in late 2014, and it has been an accelerated flight since then. Near brings its proprietary data offering to the market, including targeted mobile advertising, consumer insights, brand specific location & audience intelligence amongst others. Hisashi Inotani has been appointed as Near’s Regional Director for Japan. The location intelligence firm has partnered with MicroAd to bring its data & media offering to the marketers.

Near is doing a series of seminars in Tokyo in collaboration with MicroAd to drive awareness of the location data technology, which is first of its kind in the Japan market. At the launch, Hisashi would be giving insights on Near’s capabilities to create audience segment using location data footprint without the use of GPS through its proprietary technology.
